I spoke with Bienville Parish School’s Superintendent William Britt a little while ago and he informed me that there are still water issues at a couple of the schools.  Britt says Ringgold Elementary and Ringold High School (6th through 12th grade) are working through the water issues and that everything should be back to normal in time for school to resume tomorrow (Friday).

Citizen's can dispose of unwanted prescription drugs this Saturday at Sheriff's Safety Town as part of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.   Local law enforcement agencies across the country will be working in co-operation with the DEA  to set up collection sites for old, unwanted, and expired pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications.

The Bossier Sheriff’s Office is looking for the owner, or owners, of three goats that were picked up a week ago, on March 28th.  They’ll have to be sold at public auction on April 7th, unless claimed by the owner.  The goats were found running loose on Greenpark Road, near Doyline, and although Bossier Sheriff’s Deputies have tried to locate an owner, they’ve been unsuccessful.

Today, just after 11:00 a.m., Louisiana State Police Troop G responded to a single vehicle crash just south of Athens in Claiborne Parish.  A Ruston man was killed in the crash.  According to investigating Troopers, 52-year-old Jimmie Richardson was traveling north on LA 154 in a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado when the vehicle approached a hill and curve to the right.
