It took over three weeks to collect, sort, wrap, and bag all of the toys for this year's Operation Santa Claus program. But it will only take two days to deliver those toys to about 1000 needy children in Shreveport and Bossier Parish.
Operation Santa Claus kicked off in Shreveport-Bossier this week with one goal: to help underprivileged area children have a Christmas. Several local drop-off locations for Operation Santa Claus have been set up for residents who'd like to donate toys to the non-profit group.
