The Northwestern State Demons (4-5, 2-3 in SLC) are coming off a loss to Southland Conference leading Central Arkansas. This week NSU will host FCS #4 ranked Sam Houston State at Turpin Stadium in Natchitoches.

I caught up with Coach Peveto at the NSU Quarterback Luncheon to ask him about last and this week's game.

Northwestern State suffered a tough loss last weekend to Southeastern. Tough because they came up just short with a chance to score at the end of the game, tough because they lost one of the country's most dynamic play-makers to injury.
