LSU-Shreveport has dedicated its new research station and a classroom at an open house. Director Gary Hanson says the Red River Watershed Management Institute has officially opened the Anderson Watershed Research Station and the Jay Greenleaf Watershed Outreach Classroom.

LSU Shreveport students are feeding the poor and clothing the homeless in the form of big money donations. Friday, students from several clubs presented the Downtown Rescue Mission with a $10,000 check.

Higher Education Enrollment Up

A number of area colleges and universities are reporting higher enrollment numbers. LSU-Shreveport is reporting a fall enrollment of more than 45-hundred students. Ronpak to Hold Shreveport Job Fair
