Dogwood Trail Bridge Now Back Open

The Dogwood Trail Bridge off Stockwell Road in the Haughton area is back open earlier than expected.  The Bossier Parish Police Jury had expected repairs on the bridge to be complete later today, but Director of Public Safety Sammy Halphen tells us the barricades came down at around noon.

Hit & Run Arrest

A Haughton man was arrested early this morning on hit and run charges. Sheriff's spokesman Ed Baswell says 50-year-old Kirk Patrick Reedy was taken into custody after he was involved in a wreck near his residence.
