John Mayer is no longer just waiting on the world to change, he's trying to take a more active part in it.  And Wednesday, the musician was in Shreveport helping paint one of several homes being built to support veterans.

The Fuller Center for Housing NWLA begins construction this weekend on its 45th house -- the first one in Bossier City. The agency has partnered with Asbury United Methodist Church for the project.
