Representatives with the Louisiana DHH's Office of Public Health will offer free tetanus shots to Caddo and Bossier Parish residents who have been exposed to flood waters.
Despite the few hours respite our area had this afternoon from the rain, the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office has announced mandatory evacuations for two more subdivisions in Bossier, plus the area immediately around Louisiana Downs.
The amount of people and property that have been affected by this massive flood is unbelievable. But what about our four-legged friends? They don't like the water either!

The level on Cross Lake is expected to top the 177 ft mark. That's the message from Jason Hansford of the National Weather Service. During the record flooding in 1991, Cross Lake reached 176.4 ft. Residents around the lake are bracing for more problems this week.
