Fair Park High School

Allison Jones is a Shreveport attorney representing Fair Park alumni and parents who are challenging the proposed merger of Fair Park and BTW high schools.

The Fair Park Alumni Association, along with several other community members,  have filed a lawsuit against the Caddo Parish School Board in an attempt to stop a merger with Booker T Washington High School. The Association says that the merger violates equal protection requirements of the 14th Amendment and students at Fair Park have not been given the tools needed for a proper education... Read M

Earnestine Coleman says that it's been the intent of the board to close Fair Park since 2002 and that the deterioration of the facility has been "systematic".

Their ultimate goal is to stop the merger and save Fair Park.
