A Bossier City woman has been arrested for felony theft.

49-year-old Cynthia Lee Herring, of the 5800 block of Gold Crest Drive, was taken into custody after an investigation involving Bossier Sheriff’s Department investigators in conjunction with the Bossier Parish School Board and Superintendent D.C. Machen.

Meth Lab Busted in Elm Grove

Acting on a tip, the Bossier Sheriff's Office -- along with Louisiana State Police and the Bienville Sheriff's Department -- located a working meth lab in the 4100 block of Highway 154 last night. There, they found 2-liter bottles containing all the necessary ingredients to make meth using the "shake and bake" method
