Bossier City police and Bossier Crime Stoppers are looking for information to help them catch whoever recently shoplifted thousands of dollars worth of sterling silver earrings from a local store. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $375 for information leading to the arrest of whoever stole the items from the Kmart store in the 3000 block of East Texas back in December

BATON ROUGE - The Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals today confirmed the death of a 13-year-old East Texas boy in a Shreveport hospital due to complications from H1N1 flu. Elysian Fields Middle School student Trenton Lindsey died Tuesday night.
"Our hearts and prayers go out to this child's family and friends," said DHH Secretary Bruce D. Greenstein. "It is important we all remain vigilant for symptoms of flu-like illness, and be serious about taking preventative measures against the spread of flu."
