Eric Dale Mickelson (d.o.b. 3-3-69) is due in court at 9:30 a.m. for sentencing on his conviction of first degree murder in the slaying of Charles Martin. Mickelson was found guilty of first degree murder by a Caddo Parish jury on Aug. 3.
Derrick Dewayne Edwards (d.o.b. 9-20-74) will be in court for a preliminary examination on a charge of second degree murder. Edwards is accused of the stabbing death of Tyronne Miles during an altercation at a residence in the 500 block of East 74th St.
