This morning, Monday July 25th, 2011 from the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m, both the east and west ramps to Interstate 220 at North Market (Highways 1 and 71) will be closed temporarily as AEP/SWEPCO crews move power lines across this portion of the interstate. Motorists are encouraged to use Grimmett Drive and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive to Russell Road as alternate routes.

Traffic Street Closed

A major thoroughfare in Bossier City is closed. Bossier police have closed a section of Traffic Street -- from just north of the entrance to the Horseshoe Casino to Broadway Street.

Jimmie Davis Bridge Closing

A major detour awaits many motorists this weekend. From six o'clock tomorrow morning until nine o'clock Sunday night, the Jimmie Davis Bridge across the Red River will be closed.
