Saturday is an exciting day for Chimp Haven...because it's another Chimpanzee Discovery Day! And sanctuary officials say this month's event promises to be fun for the whole family. The theme is "Gardening at Chimp Haven," and guests will learn about the gardens planted by staff members and how the team cares for those, as well as hear about the chimpanzees' favorite foods that come straight from the gardens

The April 16th Chimpanzee Discovery Day at Chimp Haven in Keithville features "Easter with the Chimpanzees," and comes complete with an egg hunt for both kids AND chimps. Volunteers with Best Buy have helped Chimp Haven staff decorate melons to look like chimpanzee-sized "eggs," which will be hidden in the forested habitats
