DNA Evidence Leads to Arrest of Suspected Shreveport Carjacker

DNA evidence has helped Shreveport police arrest the man who's believed to have carjacked a woman on Youree Drive last month. The evidence was recovered by Crime Scene Investigators and sent to the North Louisiana Crime Lab for analysis.

19-Month Old Child Inside Vehicle When Carjacked, Suspect In Custody

On Sunday, 07/24/11 at approximately 12:25 a.m., members of the Shreveport Police Department's Uniformed Services Division responded to the 4000 block of Jewella Avenue in reference to a vehicle that was stolen with a 19 month old child still inside.
