Duck Pond Clean-Up Scheduled For This Weekend

On November 5th 2011 at 8:30 am, a group of local volunteers working with a private land’s biologist will host a cleanup for the duck pond, located on East Kings Hwy between Reily Lane and Shreveport Barksdale Highway.

A Bienville Parish man arrested earlier this week has been charged in connection with eight residential burglaries in Shreveport's South Highland and Broadmoor neighborhoods. Donald Pickett was arrested March 7th -- after police receive a tip linking him to what authorities believe was an attempted residential burglary at a home in the 4000 block of Baltimore

Broadmoor Burglar Busted

A Webster Parish man has been charged by Shreveport Police in connection with a burglary reported this morning in Shreveport’s middle-class Broadmoor neighborhood.

At approximately 10:40 a.m. this morning, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a reported burglary in progress call at a home in the 200 block of Justin Avenue.
