Gasoline Prices Still Rising

The price we pay at the pump continues to climb, with no end in sight.

AAA's Daily Fuel Gauge Report says we're paying -- on average -- $3.44 for a gallon of regular Unleaded in Shreveport/Bossier this Monday morning.  At this time last week, we were paying $3.38. Statewide, the average now is $3.45.

An anonymous tip to the Bossier Sheriff’s Department landed a Greenwood woman behind bars.

Eleanor Birdie Eskis, 65, of the 8400 block of Odom Road, was arrested following a possible drug deal. The Bossier Sheriff’s Department received an anonymous tip that a possible drug deal was happening at a dollar store on Hwy. 3.

Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen says a Bossier City teenager was arrested Thursday for cyberbullying. 

17-year-old Jason Patrick Thomas, of the 1600 block of Quin Street, was taken into custody after he admitted to a Bossier Sheriff’s detective that he sent over 50 test messages to a 15 year old female juvenile, encouraging her to commit suicide.
