Bossier Surplus Auction Draws a Crowd [GALLERY]

Dozens of people turned out to try to snap up a bargain. The Bossier City surplus auction was held over the weekend. Old patrol cars, motorcycles, bicycle, fire trucks and other city property was sold to the highest bidder. Tens of thousands was spent on the surplus items that also included several heavy duty riding lawn mowers and even a school bus.

This Will "Get Your Goat…"

The Bossier Sheriff’s Office is looking for the owner, or owners, of three goats that were picked up a week ago, on March 28th. They’ll have to be sold at public auction on April 7th, unless claimed by the owner.

The goats were found running loose on Greenpark Road, near Doyline, and although Bossier Sheriff’s Deputies have tried to locate an owner, they’ve been unsuccessful.
