Broadmoor Burglar Busted

A Webster Parish man has been charged by Shreveport Police in connection with a burglary reported this morning in Shreveport’s middle-class Broadmoor neighborhood.

At approximately 10:40 a.m. this morning, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a reported burglary in progress call at a home in the 200 block of Justin Avenue.

Double Murder Suspect In Custody

The estranged boyfriend of Rashonda Taylor is behind bars this morning charged with killing her and her mother. 

Detectives arrested 35 year old Keith D. Martin, of the 8100 block of Hobbs Drive in Shreveport, early this morning and booked him into the Shreveport City Jail on two counts of first degree murder.

Shreveport Police Officer Arrested

 

A Shreveport Police officer was arrested Thursday afternoon for driving while intoxicated, though he wasn't actually caught driving while intoxicated.

At approximately 2:52 p.m. Thursday afternoon, Shreveport police patrol officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Foster Street relative to a call from a concerned citizen regarding a marked Shreveport Police unit parked in the middle of the street there.

Cyberbullying Teen Arrested For Encouraging Girl To Commit Suicide; She Tries

Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen says a Bossier City teenager was arrested Thursday for cyberbullying. 

17-year-old Jason Patrick Thomas, of the 1600 block of Quin Street, was taken into custody after he admitted to a Bossier Sheriff’s detective that he sent over 50 test messages to a 15 year old female juvenile, encouraging her to commit suicide.
