Flu cases are on the rise in many states including Louisiana, and that's prompted the local American Red Cross chapter to do a couple of things.

A volunteer from the American Red Cross' local office flies out to Denver, Colorado, this morning to head to areas affected by wildfires. Lisamarie Griffin of Bossier City will serve as a Client Caseworker for thousands of displaced families.
