New York State has come up with a list of kids outdoor games that can be dangerous. State Bureaucrats have identified these games as possible deadly hazards:

Freeze tag, Wiffle Ball, kickball and dodgeball are listed as games that pose a "significant risk of injury." And classics like Capture the Flag, Steal the Bacon and Red Rover are also deemed dangerous in new state regulations for day camps. What this means is that camps that allow these games will have to register with the state at a cost of $200 and have medical staff on the payroll. The list also includes more perilous pursuits like archery, scuba and horseback riding - in response to a state law passed in 2009.

Under the new rules, any program that offers two or more organized recreational activities - with at least one of them on the risky list - is deemed a summer camp and subject to state regulation.

Frisbee, tug of war and sack races are not considered risky.
