Swimming Lesson Applications Being Accepted for

Bossier City's public swimming pools won't open until June 1st, but it's not too early to sign the kids up for swimming lessons. Those will be held this summer at the Mike Wood Memorial Park and Shed Road Community Playfield pools. You have a choice of four start times...10 or 11 a.m., or 6 or 7 p.m. during each two-week session. Each day's class lasts an hour, and the fee is $40. Applications can be picked up at the Bossier Parks and Recreation office on Old Shed Road -- or downloaded from the BPAR website. Applicants need to be at least four years old.
