Swimming Classes Full

It was just last week that we told you the city had secured additional funding so another 450 kids could take part in Project Swim. Today, we must report that all 450 of those slots have been filled. Since it started last year, the program has provided free swimming lessons for about 1500 people — mostly kids. By the end of the summer, that number will be in the 2000 range.
