A 20-year-old Bossier City man has been jailed on burglary charges after leading officers on a foot chase.  Bossier police were called to the 3000 block of Oliver street just after 2:15 this morning to check on a report of a man wearing a backpack and looking into parked vehicles.  Responding officers did, in fact, find a man matching that description but, when they approached him, he took off running.  Officers chased him on foot and caught him a short while later in the 3400 block of Black Lake Circle.  He's been identified as Kasey Jones Swenson.

Police searched his back pack.  In it they found several GPS devices and some cash -- all of which they believe was stolen from parked vehicles that had been left unlocked.  Detectives are investigating to see if Swenson might be linked to any other recent vehicle burglaries.
