Suspect Named in Shooting of Shreveport Teen
Shreveport police have identified the suspect in a shooting that left a 17-year-old male hospitalized.
Detectives say the shooting is believed to have happened at Lee Hedges Stadium in the 6000 block of Kings Highway. The teen was reportedly shot during a dispute over the sale of illegal narcotics.
The 17-year-old drove from the statium to the intersection of Southfield road and Youree Drive after being shot in the upper body. The alleged shooter is identified as 19-year-old Chaddrick Thomas of Shreveport.
Police have a warrant charging Thomas with one count of attempted first degree murder. Bond is set at $100,000.
