A Shreveport man has been arrested for allegedly robbing four other men early this (Sunday) morning in the 1700 block of Gilbert Drive.

Police say the four were standing outside their vehicle when a purple colored Chevrolet sedan occupied by three men drove up.  One of the men got out of the car, armed with a handgun, and demanded their money and other personal belongings.  Then he got back in the car and it drove off.

An investigation led police to a home in the 200 block of Herndon Street where they found a vehicle closely matching the description of the one used in the robbery.  Inside the house, they found several people.  Further investigation linked one of them, 29-year-old Demond Robinson, to the crime.

He was taken into custody and booked into the Shreveport City jail on four counts of armed robbery.
