The US Supreme Court upholds President Obama Health care requirement that most Americans have health insurance.  The Supreme Court has upheld the individual insurance requirement at the heart of President Barack Obama's health care overhaul. The Court hands the the President a campaign-season victory in rejecting arguments that congress went too far in requiring most Americans to have health insurance or pay a penalty.

The Supreme Court vote was 5-4

The decision has been made for a while, and now the Supreme Court is revealing its ruling on the health care overhaul. It could have an effect on millions of Americans without health care, the insurance business and the November election. And the debate isn't likely to end no matter what the ruling says.
