Super Safety Saturday is dedicated to teaching kids all about health and safety -- and the 2nd annual event is this Saturday. The Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier is once again partnering with Sheriff's Safety Town for the event -- which kicks off at 9:30 that morning with a couple of fun events...a Bike Race and Fun Run. General activities are open from 10 a.m. til 1 p.m. Junior League head volunteer Amber Free says there's no cost to get in for Safety Town activities, but specific events have a small cost involved. The "Touch a Truck" event costs $5 a person -- and $1 gets all-you-can-jump entry to the bounce houses. To get a list of events and costs, just visit www.jlsb.org.
