(UPDATE) Most Power Restored after Storms Roar Through Northwest Louisiana

Clean up will be the order of the day in many neighborhoods as storms charge through the area knocking down trees and some power lines.

Swepco's website shows about 600 residents are still in the dark early Sunday morning.

This was the outage report at mid-day Saturday:

A flash flood watch is in effect through Saturday afternoon. More rain, heavy at times is expected. Some thunderstorms are possible. Small hail and gusty winds could occur with these. Some flights out of Shreveport Regional Airport were delayed early this morning.

Cold weather is on the way. Two arctic fronts are expected in the extended forecast. One arrives on Sunday and the next on Tuesday.
