A phenomenal shot of a massive cloud Sunday near Clareton, Wyoming has gone viral via social media.

The photo was taken by the Basehunters storm chasers group, who, on their Facebook page, say they are "committed to capturing the most unique and close-up tornado footage on the market". It shows the rotating updraft of a supercell thunderstorm.

Supercells are the largest, strongest and most dangerous thunderstorms. They are most common in the Great Plains states.
