Store Clerk Shot During Armed Robbery

A store clerk is recovering after being shot in the leg during an armed robbery at the AM-PM Store on Hearne Avenue Thursday night. Police are describing the wound as serious but not life threatening.

Corporal Marcus Hines from the Shreveport Police Department says that no a lot of information is available about the robbery because the clerk was unable to speak much with detectives and had to be taken for immediate medical care.

The investigation into the robbery and shooting is on going.
