A group of teenage musicians touring as part of an anti-bullying campaign has suffered a setback when $25,000 worth of equipment was stolen from a North Texas hotel.

The equipment for the Teen Nation Tour was stored in a trailer in the parking lot of a hotel in the Dallas suburb of Addison when it was taken early Monday. The trailer later was found in Dallas but had been emptied.

The group is in the midst of a 10-month tour across much of the country. The musicians were still able to put on a less amplified performance Monday at two Dallas schools. Shows are scheduled for other Dallas schools through this week.

The tour performs free shows for elementary and middle schools around the country.
