Details are sketchy at the moment, but Shreveport police have been busy investigating a couple of morning incidents.

One of them is a shooting that happened just before 6:30 this morning in the 400 block of Olive Street. Police Sgt. Marcus Hines tells KEEL News a Hispanic male was robbed and shot in the shoulder at an apartment complex, and detectives believe the person connected to the shooting is at the Royal Inn on North Market Street. Officers are checking things out there.

They're also looking into what might have happened at Walker Road and Bert Kouns, where a 10-year-old boy on a bicycle was hit by a car. Sgt. Hines says the vehicle is believed to be a gray Honda Civic, but no word on whether anyone has talked with the driver. He does say the boy is conscious and moving his legs, and seems to be doing O.K.

We'll bring you more info on both of these stories as soon as we get it. You can also tune in to Newsradio 710 KEEL for updates.
