SPAR Youth Football League Junior Independence Bowl on Saturday

Shreveport Public Assembly & Recreation (SPAR), annual SPAR Youth Football League Junior Independence Bowl will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Independence Stadium. The event, with multiple championship games, will also feature tailgating and performances by various youth cheerleader squads and dance teams.  This event is a celebration of SPAR’s Youth Football League.

The championship games are as follows:

7 Year Old Flag – 9:00am

8 Year Old Tackle – 10:15am

9 Year Old Tackle – 11:30am

Andrew Currie Lions vs.PortCityThundercats

10 Year old Tackle – 12:45am

11 Year Old Tackle – 2:00pm

Evangel Black vs. Evangel White

12 Year Old Tackle – 3:15pm

All players, coaches, parents and supporters of SPAR’s Youth Football League are encouraged to attend the big event in support of our youth.  Come out and enjoy the championship games.  You may be watching the next Morris Claiborne, Dennis Morris, Arnez Battle, Jacob Hester, Keyunta Dawson, Jon Alston, or Jonathan Wade, each an NFL player who played in SPAR’s Youth Football League.  Let’s pack the stadium for SPAR’s Youth Football Superbowl!
