SPAR OFFERS ART CLASS FOR YOUTH

SHREVEPORT, LA, January 23, 2012: Shreveport Public

Assembly & Recreation (SPAR) Youth Program announces an Art

Class for youth ages 8 – 12 at Valencia Community Center, 1800

Viking Drive. The class will be held each Friday, beginning

February 3 from 4:00 – 6:00pm. Enrollment in the art class is

free.

The class will be taught by professional photographer and

New Orleans native Jerry Davenport. The class will include Fine

Art, Mosaic Art, Chalk Pastels, Oil Pastels, Painting, Drawing,

Sculptures, Pottery, Clay Art, and Photography.
