Small Plane Crashes into Red River

A small plane makes a crash landing in the Red River, but the pilot is not hurt.

A 34-year -old Shreveport man was trying to land a private Beechcraft Bonanza at the downtown airport when he had a problem with his landing gear The plane also had engine trouble.

The plane made an emergency landing into the Red River about a half a mile north of the airport.

The pilot was not hurt and was standing on one of the wings waiting to be rescued.
