Six-Month-Old Found Dead in SUV

An infant is dead...and a father is grieving. Shreveport police say six-month-old Lourdes Duvall's father found her unresponsive in his SUV, which was parked at LSU Health Shreveport. Police took the baby into the emergency room, where she was pronounced dead.

Detectives believe the baby's father, who's employed at the hospital, accidentally left the baby in the vehicle when he went into work. No charges have been filed.

Investigators will be working closely with the Caddo Parish DA's Office and Caddo Coroner's Office to figure out exactly what happened.
