Shreveport’s Loyola Makes ‘Best Private High Schools’ List

Shreveport's Loyola College Prep ranks eighth in a recently released list of the best private high schools in Louisiana. Best Private High Schools ranked nearly 4,000 schools across the USA based on key student statistics, plus more than 120,000 opinions from 16,000 students and parents. A high ranking indicates that the school is "an exceptional academic institution with a diverse set of high-achieving students who rate their experience very highly."

According to the study, LCP received an A- in academics and educational outcomes, B+ for faculty and B in sports and fitness.

The state's top five consisted of Isidore Newman in New Orleans, Metarie Park Country Day, Broussard's Episcopal School, Metarie's St. Martin's Episcopal and Episcopal High in Baton Rouge.
