Shreveport’s Brian Blade Gets ‘Best Jazz Album’ Grammy…Sort Of [VIDEO]

Shreveport native Brian Blade was on stage at the Grammy's Sunday night to accept the award for "Best Jazz Instrumental Album"...one little caveat to the story, however, it wasn't his.

Blade, a Caddo Magnet High grad, came out with Chick Corea to accept the statue. Blade played with the jazz legend on his winning album, 'Trilogy'. Blade - and his group, The Fellowship Band, were nominated in that category also.
