(UPDATE) Shreveporter Wanted on Caddo Sheriff’s Office Warrant

(UPDATE, April 22, 11:50AM) 21-year-old Darion Jackson, Jr., is now behind bars. Caddo sheriff's detectives say he was located this morning at a Monkhouse Drive hotel.

(ORIGINAL STORY, April 21) A young man from Shreveport is wanted on a warrant out of Caddo Parish.

Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator is asking for the public's help locating 21-year-old Darion Jackson, Jr. He's accused of stealing a 2011 Dodge Challenger from a home in the 9000 block of Amblewood Drive in Shreveport on March 17. The vehicle was later recovered at an apartment complex in Bossier City.

Det. Donnie Laney turned up evidence linking Jackson to the crime. A warrant charges him with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. If you know where he might be, call the Caddo Sheriff's Office at 675-2170 or Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
