A Shreveport woman has been arrested for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from her employer.

Caddo Sheriff’s Detectives say 30-year-old Autumn Dollarhide was an employee of Red Wing Shoes on Youree Drive from early 2012 until February of this year and was responsible for handling the store’s deposits.  In February, the store’s owner learned of a cash shortage from a deposit.  A subsequent audit by Red Wing revealed a loss of almost $13,000 since 2012.  Dollarhide was questioned about the missing money by Caddo Detective Doug Smith and then booked into Caddo Correctional Center on a charge of felony theft.
