New businesses opened their doors on Lake Street in Shreveport last week in a block party celebration.

The 400 block of Lake Street welcomed a handful of new businesses that opened last Thursday. iArchitecture, Vintage Design Group, The Agora Borealis, Good Granoly and Nicole Spikes Photography all celebrated opening their doors.

The block closed down for a Cirque de Lake party that included food trucks, live music, street performers and more.

I love that the SBC is a booming place for local businesses. There ain't nothing better than buying local.
