Shreveport police have arrested a teenager believed to be responsible for a shooting that left a man dead and a woman wounded.

Detectives say 34-year-old Gregory Morris was killed shortly after 10 p.m. on October 13, 2014, following a shooting inside a hotel room at the Cajun Inn on Claiborne Avenue. A woman also in the room, 30-year-old Sreeth Haskin of Shreveport, was wounded and continues to recover.

The suspect reportedly walked up to the hotel room and began firing shots. Evidence has linked 18-year-old Quindarius Allen of Shreveport to the crime. With the help of a police K-9, he was arrested early this morning at a home in the 200 block of West 73rd Street. He's charged with second degree murder and attempted second degree murder.
