A Shreveport man is dead after being stabbed at his home in the Caddo Heights neighborhood Sunday night.

Officers were called to University Health where a man was being treated for stab wounds. Detectives later learned the stabbing apparently happened at a home in the 5600 block of Kent just before 8:00 p.m. Sunday night.

19-year-old Cameron Lee suffered at least one stab wound to his chest area. He was rushed into surgery but later died.

Police discovered Lee had a visitor at his residence just before the attack. The visitor, who was wearing all black, was later seen running from the residence. Witnesses found Lee wounded inside the residence and rushed him to University Health Hospital via private vehicle.
