If you're downtown during the noon-hour tomorrow, you may see a bunch of nearly-naked women standing behind a banner the reads, "Bare Skin -- Don't Wear Skin." It's part of PETA's "Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaign and it's making a stop in Shreveport tomorrow -- at the corner of Texas and Marshall. PETA -- or People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals -- claims that animals killed for their skins are often electrocuted, poisoned, or gassed -- or have their necks broken.
