If you’re downtown during the noon-hour tomorrow, you may see a bunch of nearly-naked women standing behind a banner the reads, “Bare Skin — Don’t Wear Skin.” It’s part of PETA’s “Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” campaign and it’s making a stop in Shreveport tomorrow — at the corner of Texas and Marshall. PETA — or People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals — claims that animals killed for their skins are often electrocuted, poisoned, or gassed — or have their necks broken.
