Shreveport Student Arrested for Having Gun on Campus

A Huntington High School student has been arrested for having a gun on campus.  

18-year-old Christopher Huff was arrested at school today after it was learned that he had a handgun.  Though still in high school, Huff's age makes him an adult under Louisiana law so he was booked into the Shreveport City Jail and charged with having a weapon on school property.  Police say no reason has been given for why he had the gun on campus but they say no shots were fired and no one was injured.
