Shreveport Regional Turns 60

Happy Birthday to Shreveport Regional Airport -- 60 years old today. Airport Authority Chairman Larry Brandon says there's no doubt that the airport has played a significant role in Shreveport's history...millions of passengers have passed through Shreveport Regional over the past 60 years. Brandon says the airport's growth is evidence to the important role it plays in travel in this part of the country. Mayor Cedric Glover says the airport serves as a gateway to the world for this entire region. Today, Shreveport Regional is served by four airlines and three commercial cargo carriers.
