The Shreveport Police department needs your help identifying a man who the SPD believes might be responsible for an unsuccessful business robbery last week in Shreveport.

Shreveport Police patrol officers were called to the scene of an attempted robbery at the Family Dollar at 1900 North market Street. According to the Shreveport Police Department "a male subject purchased items from the store. After making his purchase, the man handed the clerk a note demanding money in exchange for nobody being hurt. The clerk could not open the register to give the man any money. When the clerk explained that to the man, he fled on foot." The incident happened on June 29, 2017 around 5:30 p.m.

The follow up investigation conducted by Shreveport Police Department's Robbery Task Force recovered the store video footage. They believe the man pictured above may be responsible for the robbery.
