Shreveport police are searching for a 23-year-old man who is wanted in a shooting last month that left two men wounded.

The shootings happened in the Sunset Acres neighborhood on the evening of August 22nd. Police have a warrant for Jimmie Durden, Jr. Officers responded to the 6500 block of Quillen Boulevard, where two men had been shot. They named Durden as a suspect after witnesses gave a description of him.

Durden is believed to be driving a red Ford Mustang or a red Chevrolet Impala. Durden is charged with illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and attempted first degree murder.
