A man wanted by Shreveport police for a double murder that occurred just after the first of the year is now behind bars.  23-year-old Robert Farris is being held on two counts of second-degree murder.  His bond is set at $750,000.  He's accused of fatally shooting 57-year-old Stephen Bryant and 49-year-old Madonna Dean Wachter inside a home in the 200 block of Columbia Street in Shreveport's Highland neighborhood.  Their bodies were discovered by a family member on the morning of January 3rd.  Farris was taken into custody this afternoon in Bossier City, with assistance from Bossier City police, after Shreveport police obtained a warrant for his arrest.
