A man wanted by Shreveport police for a Saturday morning murder is now in custody. A tip through Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers led officers to the 58-hundred block of King Street. There, they located 55-year-old Larry Wayne Sims and arrested him without incident. Sims was wanted for the shooting death of a man at a home in the 62-hundred block of Buncombe Road. He was booked on a charge of second-degree murder -- his bond set at $500,000.
